Congratulations, you have won the Test of Luck against the Exarch!
The Exarch stares at Nevdor for but a brief second, and then says, "Congratulations, champion. You are indeed worthy! May you succeed in lighting the Divine Brazier." Then something miraculous happens. Nevdor finds himself in possession of not one new treasure, but TWO (A Krater of Might and a WAND OF PETRIFACTION)!
The Exarch fades away, and the braziers return to their former state of illumination. All of you then feel the Divine Boon of Asar-Segt come upon you.

One more treasure that I didn't mention above. Nevdor - If you wish, you may resurrect any one dungeoneer who has died. This choice must be done now, and I don't mind if one player plays two dungeoneers, as long as they keep up with posting and make it clear who they're posting for when they do! You are resurrected at full hp with a number of healing surges remaining equal to the amount you had at the time of your death.

Well guys, who do you think we need more? A wizard, artificer, or whatever thundic was...
OOC: Whomever is chosen, Dervan's player (who has been lurking along) will step back in and play it! That will bring you guys back up to six dungeoneers, which is a very good thing to have in this dungeon.
ReplyDeleteOOC: Hanar Hammerforge was the only full healer we had, and is the only full healer available from the list of deceased.
ReplyDeleteOOC: You can bring him back, but I might assign a new player considering I haven't heard from the original one for a couple of weeks.
ReplyDeleteExarch, while our companion Hanar insulted the gods and may not deserve life, we humbly ask that you bring him back to us. If the gods still see him as unfit, they may destroy him again at their whim!
ReplyDeleteOOC: Yes, a healer thats actually around would be a good thing. So we have Rgr/Mage/Rog/Scout/Mnk+Clr right now. Bhareg can heal a bit, but combat is probably coming...and more healing can't hurt...
OOC2: So, which room to now? To appease the god of slaughter or beasts? Both sound like a fight!
Beasts sounds good. Sounds like something a Thri-Kreen would look forward to, as the mostly beastly one in the group :)

Suddenly, all the gore and blood that splattered you moments ago pulls off of you and coalesces into the humanoid form once more. With a final flash of crimson light, Hanar Hammerforge stands before you once again!
ReplyDeleteOOC: The former player of Dervan will take on the role of Hanar Hammerforge from this point on. Good choice in resurrection, as you now have back the Gem of True Seeing.
So, which way? Lyth or Kishar?
OOC: I'll vote Lyth as well. Oh, and I hadn't even though about the items hanar had. That gem should be real handy coming up. Hanar, better make that thing your monocle!
DeleteHanar blinks a few times. Didn't something just happen to him? He didn't feel quite the same, but he shrugged, raising his gem of true seeing to take a look around the hub.
